Send us a message — we'll read it

Got a correction, a topic you want us to cover, or a question about the newsletter? We're a small team in Thika and we actually respond.

The most useful messages we receive are corrections. If you spot a calculation error, an outdated data point, or a claim we haven't sourced properly, tell us — and include the source you're working from. We review every correction within 48 hours, publish an update note on the relevant article if it's substantive, and credit the reader who flagged it. Beyond corrections, we're genuinely interested in questions that reveal a gap in our coverage: a concept you couldn't find a clear Kenyan-context explanation for, a market event we haven't yet written about, or a guide topic that would have helped you six months ago. We don't guarantee we'll cover every suggestion, but every suggestion shapes the editorial calendar. What we can't help with: specific investment advice, brokerage referrals, or questions that require a licensed financial advisor. For those, the CMA public register at cma.or.ke is the right starting point.

Three things to know before you write

Response within 48 hours

We reply to every message within two working days. If you're flagging a factual correction, we may respond sooner — accuracy issues go to the top of the queue.

No investment advice

We can explain how a financial product works, but we can't tell you whether it's right for your situation. For personalised advice, you need a CMA-licensed financial advisor.

Topic suggestions welcome

Reader questions directly influence what we write next. If there's a gap in the Kenyan personal finance space you've noticed, we want to hear about it — even if it takes us a while to get there.
